Basic Wastes Awareness Certificate
The Chartered Institution of Wastes Management (CIWM) has developed a Waste Awareness Certificate aimed specifically at those employees who deal with waste in all kinds of situations on a daily basis. It covers some basic facts about the law on wastes and how employees and companies can avoid running foul of the regulators, and how companies and individuals can reduce the amount of wastes they generate, deal more effectively with the wastes that they produce, and save money in the process!
This one day course is relevant to all commercial and business organisations and courses are offered either "in-house" to a specific group, or on an "open" basis at a range of centres.
